We went shopping at the commisary on Saturday to stock up on groceries. We told JD if he was SO SO GOOD he could pick out a toy at the PXtra when we were done.
Choosing the right toy is serious business for little boys . . .

President's Day
JD's school was closed today for President's day. My school had teacher work day so off we went to be "developed" on some important educational topics. Here's what JD got out of the day.
We had our picture drawn at the pizza place once all the important meetings were over.

Story Time
On nights when we fool around and it gets late I try to convince JD it is TOO late for story time. He says, "no mommy, it's YOUR story time" and reads to me.
He carefully picks the books he wants to read. Usually a dinosaur book that we've read so many times he knows all the words. Lulu is always part of the selection process.

JD's Family
I haven't posted in awhile because ---- WELL, we haven't done anything. I guess I could take a picture of us eating dinner or washing the dishes or folding the laundry. BUT -- how boring. That's us right now -- BORING.
JD drew this picture in Primary today. It is a picture of his family. The big person with the smile is dad. The little person is me and right down there at the bottom of the page is LuLu. I thought his drawing of the dog was a pretty good likeness. I went into his class in time to hear him give the closing prayer. He prayed that he was thankful for cartoons and the movie store. I guess Heavenly Father will appreciate an HONEST prayer.
