The new game JD has invented is playing egg. He covers himself with a blanket and then pretends he is an egg. He prompts me from inside the egg so I know what to say. Usually I have to wonder what is inside the egg. Next I have to try to crack the egg but it is always too tough to crack. I contemplate making cookies out of the egg.
Then the egg shakes and out hatches my little JD. Last week JD was always a
pterodactyl when he hatched. This week he has decided that he is a T-
rex.
He played egg for nearly and hour one afternoon. Hatching over and over again on the kitchen floor while I cooked dinner.
