Snake night at the wildflower center was FABULOUS!!
The presentation by Dr. Travis was really good. He showed the kids snakes - some they could touch - others not! I learned a very important fact. Your average Texas snake bite victim is a male under 30 with a blood alcohol of .1. Yet another reason not to drink in excess.
We climbed to the top of the observation tower for a view of the sunset. It was really beautiful in a central Texas sort of way.
JD has been going to a summer program at his school in the mornings. Today he brought home the dinosaur egg he made. When we cut it open there was a little dinosaur inside. You can sort of see it in his left hand.
JD has gone video game crazy. This afternoon I caught him
asleep with the game still on in his hand. MAN he is getting big. When he sleeps on the couch he takes up practically the whole thing!
