We discovered over the holidays that JD loves donuts. (So does dad - the donut doesn't fall far from the tree - ha ha ha ha) We went to get donuts last night. After having TWO JD was worried that dad would eat the rest and he wouldn't get any more. I convinced him to write his name on the box and that way everyone would know that the remaining donuts were his and they would be safe. It must have worked because there were donuts left this evening.
WOW - he writes his name better than some of my 12th graders.

i love the battle between kids, dads and food. does jd like donuts with sprinkles?
yum -- we only buy the plain ones so he hasn't had a chance to like sprinkles. He knows dad well!! If he hadn't fussed over saving a few for the next day dad would have definately polished off the rest of the box.
