I wore my I'm Just a Bill t-shirt to school on Friday. Can you guess what we were learning about? JD pointed to the capital building on my shirt and said, "look, it's Barak Obama's tower." HA HA HA HASaturday, November 14, 2009

Crack for Dogs
I've decided tennis balls are like crack for dogs. I got some old worn out tennis balls from a certain high school athletic department and took them home. YES - I had permission to take the balls home. Apparently they actually do wear out so that the tennis team can't use them.
JD looked at my bag of old balls and asked if we could have a "ball party." HUH???? When I said OK he proceeded to dump out the whole bag of balls and the dog went NUTS!!

Thriller
JD still loves spooky videos. We have been watching Michael Jackson dance with zombies in Thriller. It's spooky, but not too spooky and JD seems to understand that it is all "just pretend."
He has been working on his Michael Jackson dance moves and when we saw a Thriller jacket in a Halloween store JD decided he needed one. WELL - they only come in big people sizes and cost lots of money so Mommy said -- "NO, you have enough costumes!!" JD's response - "It is not a costume, it's a JACKET." Now how can you argue with that logic. Logically or not, I still said "NO."
Coming home from school yesterday JD worried, "Kate (one of JD's classmates) says Michael Jackson died." He wouldn't believe me when I told him Kate was right. After all, there he is right there on the TV almost every night at our house.
