It's Warm Again

After an entire week of cold cold rain we took advantage of the warm temperatures today and went to the park. AND, so did everyone else. The park was a VERY popular place today. Despite the crowds JD enjoyed the slides.
He rode the turtle.

And, he even went down the really BIG enclosed slide. All that playground time made us hungry. JD met his buddy Noah and had a little pizza and played WHAC A MOLE. JD and Noah were the WHAC A MOLE champs.

Here are the Champs with their prize, a big red bulldog. Thanks to Aunt Pat for talking the WHAC A MOLE guys out of a bigger prize.

I'm NOT Grandma!

Here is our traditional Sunday picture. We clean up pretty good don't we?

Twice yesterday I got accused of being JD's Grandma. I am NOT Grandma. Of course, that makes George Grandpa which didn't seem to bother him too much. Take a look at this picture. Do I look like Grandma? I think NOT!

What are we up to?

We have the January blahs and so we just don't have much to blog about. What have we been up to? Here we are talking to the lobsters in Central Market. By the way, if you take pictures and talk to the seafood in the grocery store people look at you funny. JD didn't mind though.

We've taken a few naps in the car.

And we've played with Mr. Potato Head. We are just a boring group.

Jamma Boy

JD is a jamma boy. Almost every day as soon as we get home from school he wants his jammas on. Never mind that it is only 4:30 and not anywhere near time to go to bed -- jammas are his clothing of choice. By far his favorites are these orange Nemo jammas. I think he would wear them 24/7 if I would let him. He is going to be very sad someday when they fall apart.
This is JD ready for church. He always tells me his church pants hurt. Every Sunday when I try to put them on him he says "pants hurt." Sorry JD, but that's what church clothes do -- they hurt.
