Opening Weekend

On Saturday Oak Hill Baseball celebrated opening weekend.  JD and I made the banner for his team.  I thought it looked pretty good until I saw how professional some of the other banners were.  WOW!
JD also got a promotion  at martial arts.  He got a belt with a blue stipe which means he is a candidate for a blue belt.
We love Ricky and Meghan!  They are the best teachers ever!

Spring Break 15

Another Spring Break has come and gone way too quickly.  Here is all the fun documented in a few choice pictures.  We opened the Narvaiz Family Bed and Breakfast (and Lunch and Dinner) to another round of Ridings.  We were happy to have guests come and enjoy Spring Break with us.
In addition to hosting the family we spent three days driving back and forth to Round Rock to baseball camp.  Special thanks to Donna for getting up SUPER early and helping entertain me on the drive.  I have new sympathy for people who make this commute every day.
JD had a great time playing on the field where the pros play.
While he played ball Donna and I got our walking in at the maze otherwise known as IKEA.
Baseball isn't our only sport.  On Saturday JD tested for a blue stripe on his belt at Mu Sool Won.
We celebrated passing the martial arts test with some fine dining at Costco.
This little gal has loved spring break!  She is always happy when her people are around to play with.

Car Selfies

JD grabbed George's sunglasses and my phone and took this selfie to send to dad.
He was so proud of his efforts that he insisted I do it too.
WOW - we are easily entertained these days.  Spring break is almost here and we are counting down.

Weekend with Cousins

The reason for our cousin weekend was a funeral --- BUT --- I just couldn't title my post "funeral."  We are so sad to have lost a member of the family but happy that we were able to get together for a few hours.
This picture makes JD and his cousin Jack look very serious.  In reality they were reading the poems on the headstones and trying to entertain themselves while the adults had more serious business at hand.
Thanks to Chad for sharing his birthday with us and providing an excuse to eat cake.
For JD a weekend away means the excitement of a hotel room.  He had a strange fascination with the walk in shower.
AND -- then there was Buckees --- enough said about that!
