A Perfect Saturday

We had perfect weather day for our outings. Here we are at Sears admiring the Christmas decorations in shorts and a T-shirt. JD recognizes all the Christmas things that are out already and points them out to us in case we haven't noticed them or appreciated them properly.
He also rode the train at the mall. JD LOVES LOVES LOVES the train. It doesn't matter that it only goes around in a little circle. To JD it is the greatest thing ever. And to make it even better, this week the Christmas decorations were up in the middle. Santa was also at the mall. JD and I talked to him but he didn't want to sit on Santa's lap for a picture. Oh well, maybe next time.

And, since today's weather was so perfect we decided to go to the pool. OK, the pool we go to is indoors. BUT, it will still get too cold for us to get in at some point this winter. All you folks in cold climates -- this is the time of year you can envy our weather. We have Christmas and swimming all in the same day.

Oh how I miss the days of flip flops and shorts. Does JD like going under the water or does he still freak out?

JD still freaks out about going underwater. He got a little better at the end of his last session of swim lessons and would put his face in - but this was our first time at the pool in awhile. Your pictures look beautiful but I don't envy your cold weather.
