Candy Carnival

JD and I celebrated Halloween at the "candy carnival" at school. Since the carnival is co-sponsored by the church that uses our theater on Sundays it is NOT a "Halloween carnival." WHATEVER!!! It was 90 degrees this afternoon and JD refused to wear a costume. It really was kind of hot for the costumes he has. That didn't stop me from dressing up. It's pretty sad when you are more dressed up than your child.

JD got a couple of temporary tatoos.

He waited in line to play this little t-ball type game. I think it was his favorite thing.

We played a little golf.

We pulled suckers from a tree.

AND -- we threw bean bags through a variety of Halloween, oops, I mean festive candy themed backdrops. He has learned that to win at bean bag toss you have to walk right up to it an throw it through. When you're three years old I guess that isn't considered cheating. Nobody stopped him from doing it anyway.
